UK offers disabled pensioners a £5,644.60 payment and expands vision impairment benefits.

The UK Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is offering a one-off £5,644.60 payment to state pensioners with disabilities to help with rising living costs. Additionally, around 2 million people in Great Britain with vision problems or degenerative eye conditions may be eligible for Attendance Allowance, which provides up to £108.55 weekly. Nearly 50,000 individuals over the state pension age are receiving payments for sight loss conditions. The benefit helps cover daily living expenses and maintain independence at home.
