On Monday, a student stabbed a computer instructor twice in the stomach at an employment support services center in Seattle after reportedly disliking the class material. The attacker fled on a bus but was later arrested. The instructor was hospitalized in serious but stable condition, and the weapon was not recovered. In a separate incident, a 60-year-old man was stabbed in the neck in self-defense after threatening another man with a pocketknife.
