The relocated "Beavers" sculpture, after restoration, now resides at Fredericton's Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

The famous Fredericton beaver sculpture, "The Beavers," has been relocated to the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in downtown Fredericton. Created in 1959 by Acadian artist Claude Roussel as a gift to Lord Beaverbrook, the 1,400-kilogram limestone carving of a mother and baby beaver was originally placed in a downtown park but removed in 2016 due to damage. After a two-week restoration, it is now on display at the gallery.
