Minnesota launches new eagle camera, joining the original, to support wildlife conservation efforts.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will launch a new eagle camera on Thursday, November 21, featuring a different nesting pair.
The previous camera, which had millions of viewers globally, will continue operating as the original eagles, nicknamed "Nancy and Beau," built a new nest nearby.
Both cameras will stream live on the DNR website and YouTube channel, supporting the Nongame Wildlife Program, which aids in the conservation of endangered species.
The new camera cost around $5,000, with help from Xcel Energy.
