A Malaysian express bus passenger died due to faulty wiring, leading to safety measure reforms.

The Transport Minister of Malaysia, Anthony Loke, revealed that an 18-year-old passenger died due to faulty electrical wiring on an express bus that did not meet safety standards. The investigation found improper wiring connections and the use of unlicensed personnel. In response, the Land Public Transport Agency has suspended another bus with similar issues and ordered all operators to stop using three-pin sockets, implementing stricter safety measures.
