LAX is entering a new phase of testing for its Automated People Mover (APM) system, with trains moving through the Central Terminal Area and crossing over Sepulveda and Century boulevards. LINXS will conduct initial tests at minimal speed, gradually increasing to full speed by the end of 2025. The $2.9 billion to $3.34 billion project, set to be completed by December 8, 2025, aims to improve travel efficiency for passengers and airport employees with a free electric train system.
