The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) is releasing newly redesigned banknotes for 50, 100, 200, and 500 shillings, with the Sh1,000 note already updated. El Banco Central de Kenya (CBK) está lanzando billetes recientemente rediseñados para 50, 100, 200 y 500 chelines, con la nota Sh1.000 ya actualizada. The new notes feature the signatures of Governor Kamau Thugge and Treasury Principal Secretary Dr. Chris Kiptoo, a 2024 print year, and new security features like color-changing threads.
