Indian Supreme Court orders reinstatement of case against MLA Antony Raju for evidence tampering in a drug case.

The Supreme Court of India has ordered the reinstatement of a 1990 case against Kerala MLA Antony Raju, accusing him of tampering with evidence in a drugs case involving an Australian national. Raju, a former junior lawyer, is to appear in court on December 20. The case, which had significant delays, involves allegations of conspiracy and evidence tampering under the Indian Penal Code. The Supreme Court has also mandated the trial to be completed within a year.
