German producer prices dropped 1.1% in October, driven by a sharp decline in energy costs.

German producer prices fell 1.1% annually in October, largely due to a 5.6% drop in energy prices. Despite this, prices for capital goods and consumer goods rose by 2.0% and 1.9% respectively. Excluding energy, producer prices grew 1.3% year-over-year but were stable compared to the previous month.
