Two-year-old brown bear Boki at Wildwood Trust in Kent underwent groundbreaking brain surgery to treat hydrocephalus, a condition causing seizures. World-leading surgeon Romain Pizzi fitted a stent to help drain excess fluid from Boki's brain. After six weeks of rehabilitation, Boki has gained 20kg and is almost back to his normal self, with experts hoping to wean him off his medication.
