Arizona's AG launches $6M grant program to aid tribes harmed by fraudulent sober living homes.

Arizona's Attorney General, Kris Mayes, has launched a $6 million grant program to assist tribal communities affected by fraudulent sober living homes. The grants, funded by the state's Anti-Racketeering Revolving Fund, aim to provide compensation and support for those impacted by the fraud, which involved billing Medicaid without providing proper care. Each tribe can apply for up to $500,000, with applications due by January 31, 2025.
