UN resumes flights to Haiti amid ongoing violence and displacement in Port-au-Prince.

The UN Humanitarian Air Service will resume flights in Haiti on Wednesday, following a week-long pause due to safety concerns and regulatory issues. The US FAA had banned US airlines from flying to Haiti for 30 days after gangs attacked three planes. Despite the resumption of flights, violence persists in Port-au-Prince, displacing over 20,000 people and leaving much of the city under gang control.
