South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace plans to introduce a resolution barring transgender women from Capitol restrooms.

South Carolina Republican Rep. Nancy Mace plans to introduce a resolution banning transgender women from using women's restrooms at the U.S. Capitol. This comes ahead of Delaware's Sarah McBride's swearing-in as the first openly transgender Congressmember. Mace argues it protects women's rights, while McBride calls it a distraction from real issues. If not included in the rules package for the new Congress, Mace will push for a standalone vote in early January.
