Scientists in China have discovered a new armored dinosaur species, named "China's armor dragon," dating back 72 to 84 million years.

Paleontologists in China have identified a new species of armored dinosaur, named Huaxiazhoulong shouwen, meaning "China's armor dragon." Found in Jiangxi Province, the fossil, dating back 72 to 84 million years, measures over six meters long. The dinosaur had a robust body, powerful limbs, and a defensive tail club. This discovery adds to the diverse ankylosaur species in Late Cretaceous southeast China.
