Sardinian village offers $1 homes to Americans seeking post-election fresh start.

The village of Ollolai in Sardinia, Italy, is offering dilapidated homes for just $1 to Americans upset by the recent US election results, aiming to revitalize its community which has faced depopulation. The village offers three tiers of housing: free temporary homes for digital nomads, $1 homes needing renovation, and ready-to-live-in properties for about $105,000. Mayor Francesco Columbu hopes that Americans will help revitalize the village, with a special team guiding interested buyers through the process.
