Philippines approves $719M in power grid projects to improve reliability and integrate renewable energy.

The Energy Regulatory Commission in the Philippines has approved three major transmission projects totaling P38.09 billion by the National Grid Corporation. These projects aim to enhance power reliability and stability in Luzon and Visayas. The Bolo-Balaoan 500 kV line, Northern Luzon 230 kV loop, and Nabas-Caticlan-Boracay transmission projects will support renewable energy integration and address existing power supply issues.
