Nebius Group, founded by Yandex co-founder Arkady Volozh, plans to open its first U.S. cloud computing operations in Kansas City, Missouri, housing up to 35,000 Nvidia chips. The company, which split from Yandex in a $5.4 billion deal, is expanding with offices in San Francisco, Dallas, and New York. Nebius aims to offer AI-specific cloud services, spending over $387.6 million on capital expenditures this quarter, mostly on chips.
