Malaysia's exports rose 1.6% year-on-year in October to 128.12 billion ringgit (28.66 billion USD), driven by strong demand for manufactured goods, which make up 85.4% of total exports. Agriculture goods also saw an 8.9% increase, while mining goods exports fell 12.1%. Overall trade grew 2.1% to 244.26 billion ringgit, marking the 10th consecutive month of year-on-year growth. Imports expanded 2.6%, leading to a trade surplus of 11.98 billion ringgit. For the first 10 months, trade increased 9.3%, with exports up 4.8% and imports up 14.6%.
