Johns Hopkins launches programs in India to reduce TB in schools and advance women in STEM.

Johns Hopkins University launched two programs in India: the TB-Free Schools Initiative to reduce TB cases among schoolchildren, building on a project in Himachal Pradesh that reduced TB cases by 87%. The second program aims to advance women's careers in STEMM fields by training and mentoring 40 early-career women for senior roles. Both initiatives involve collaboration with Indian and U.S. organizations and support Johns Hopkins' commitment to innovation and human development.
