Indian and Chinese ministers discussed resuming flights, pilgrimages, and data sharing at the G20 summit.

At the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro, Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi discussed resuming direct flights and the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage between India and China, which were suspended due to the pandemic. They also talked about data sharing on trans-border rivers and media exchanges. Both ministers noted progress in disengaging troops along the disputed border and agreed to meet special representatives soon to stabilize ties and manage differences.
