Half of British adults misunderstand COPD, despite high awareness, risking delayed treatment and poorer health outcomes.

A recent survey found that half of British adults have limited understanding of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), despite 87% awareness of the condition. Lack of awareness may lead to delayed treatment and fewer lifestyle changes that could protect lung health.
