Filipino court sentences three, including a customs "fixer," to life for smuggling $117M in methamphetamine.

A Manila court has sentenced Mark Taguba, Eirene Mae Tatad, and Kenneth Dong to life in prison and fined them P500,000 each for smuggling methamphetamine worth P6.4 billion. Taguba, known as a customs "fixer," was found central to facilitating the drug importation. The court ruled they violated the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. Six other suspects are still at large.
