Eskom, South Africa's power utility, is warning prepaid meter customers to update their meters by November 24 or face power loss and potential costs up to R12,000. Customers must buy tokens and use provided codes to update their meters to KRN2. Those failing to update will lose power and require new meters. Eskom is offering support through community teams and a chatbot to help with the process.
