Yiwu, China, marks a decade of its China-Europe freight trains, boosting trade to $2.62 billion yearly.

Yiwu, China, celebrated the 10th anniversary of its China-Europe freight train service, which has transported over 670,000 TEUs of cargo since 2014. The trains, known for connecting the city dubbed "the world's supermarket" to over 160 cities in 50 countries, have seen cargo value rise from $92 million to $2.62 billion annually. Initially carrying low-value goods, the trains now transport high-value machinery and electronics.
