The 2024 World Young Scientist Summit (WYSS) in Wenzhou, China, brought together nearly 800 scientists from 71 countries and 63 international organizations. Wan Gang, head of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), emphasized how technology accelerates scientific breakthroughs. Tshilidzi Marwala, UN official and university rector, highlighted the role of young scientists in global issues like climate change and health. Four young scientists received awards, and the summit has fostered cooperation with over 200 organizations since 2019.
