Ukrainian teacher-turned-soldier downed a Russian missile in a successful first combat launch.

Ukrainian nursery teacher Nataliia Hrabarchuk shot down a Russian cruise missile during her first combat launch using an Igla MANPADS rocket launcher. The incident occurred during a large-scale Russian attack on Sunday. Hrabarchuk, now a volunteer in Ukraine's air defense forces, successfully hit the target, dropping to her knees in disbelief. Ukraine reported shooting down 102 missiles and 83 drones, with at least 21 casualties. The Kremlin warned of potential WWIII due to US support for Ukraine's missile use.
