Starbreeze, the developer of Payday 3, plans to significantly reduce investment in the game, focusing instead on its new Dungeons & Dragons project, Project Baxter. Despite initial criticism and negative Steam reviews, Payday 3 has seen improvements with four DLCs and updates this year. The company remains committed to adding new content, including a free legacy heist in December and a character pack in 2025.
