India and Greece are exploring stronger maritime ties, aiming to double their bilateral trade to around $4 billion by 2030. They discussed the operationalization of the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), a network of railways and sea routes to enhance trade efficiency. Greece is keen to attract Indian investments in its ports, especially the Port of Piraeus, while India invited Greek companies to contribute to its shipbuilding industry.
