Chinese automakers showcase advanced autonomous tech to compete with Tesla in the EV market.

Chinese automakers are intensifying their investment in autonomous driving technology to compete with Tesla in the electric vehicle market. Xiaomi showcased the SU7 EV with "parking spot to parking spot" autonomous driving, while Jidu Auto, a Geely-Baidu venture, unveiled the Robo X hypercar, capable of reaching 0 to 100 kph in 1.9 seconds with a 403-mile range. Tesla plans to introduce its Full Self-Driving capabilities in China by Q1 2025, pending regulatory approval, fueling competition and innovation among Chinese EV makers.
