Canadians are optimistic about their country's human rights but worried about global issues and domestic housing rights.

A recent survey by the Canadian Museum for Human Rights found that while two-thirds of Canadians are optimistic about human rights in their country, only one-third feel the same about global human rights. The survey, involving 2,500 people, also showed growing concerns about healthcare and housing rights in Canada, with 81% believing the right to housing has weakened. The museum plans to use the findings to inform policy discussions with civil society, parliamentarians, and officials.
