Canada launches $500M fund to support youth mental health, targeting high costs and uncertainty.

Canada's Health Minister Ya'ara Saks is inviting proposals for a new $500 million Youth Mental Health Fund to help young Canadians facing mental health challenges due to high living costs and global uncertainty. Nearly two-thirds of mental health disorders appear before age 25, and the fund will support Indigenous programming. Proposals are due by January 22.
