British semiconductor firm IQE reviews assets, considers selling Taiwanese division amid weak demand.

British semiconductor maker IQE is conducting a strategic review of its assets and considering selling its Taiwanese division due to weak demand and flat revenue. The company expects 2024 revenue to be around £115 million, below analysts' predictions. IQE is also in talks with shareholder Lombard Odier for £15 million in short-term financing. Despite the challenges, the company remains confident in its long-term prospects.
