Audi launches the A5 L, a longer sedan version of the A5, tailored for the Chinese market.

Audi has introduced a long-wheelbase A5 sedan, called the A5 L, specifically for the Chinese market. The A5 L is 73mm longer than the standard A5 liftback, offering more rear-seat space. Built in China as part of Audi's joint venture with FAW, the A5 L is designed to meet Chinese buyers' preference for sedans. It is built on Volkswagen Group's Premium Platform Combustion (PPC).
