Asante Gold closes $35M funding round to pay debts, supporting Ghanaian mines, with more expected soon.

Asante Gold Corporation has closed the second part of its US$100 million private placement, raising $35 million to settle debts. The company plans to use the funds to support growth at its Bibiani and Chirano mines in Ghana. The third part, worth $40 million, is expected to close by December 5. Participation from key Ghanaian service providers shows confidence in the company's future.
