White Ribbon Ride kicks off in New Zealand to combat violence against women.

The White Ribbon Ride's North Island leg started in Whakatane, New Zealand, marking the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on November 25. Minister Karen Chhour highlighted the campaign's aim to have men support women in ending violence. More than 30 motorbike riders embarked on a journey to Porirua, near Wellington, to raise awareness, as women in New Zealand face high rates of family and sexual violence.
