Students at Kingston Secondary School in Ontario found carbon dioxide levels in the school exceeding safe limits, prompting an inspection of the HVAC system. Levels reached 2,612 parts per million (ppm) on the third floor, higher than Health Canada's recommended 1,000 ppm maximum. Principal Darren Seymour assured the community that the system is designed to maintain safe air quality and that a precautionary inspection will be conducted.
