Nigerian social media star Bobrisky sues EFCC and National Assembly for $2.8M over alleged rights violations.

Nigerian social media figure Idris 'Bobrisky' Okuneye has filed a N1.2 billion lawsuit against the Nigerian EFCC and National Assembly, alleging human rights violations and seeking compensation for alleged harassment and trauma. Bobrisky claims the agencies' actions violated his rights and caused him significant distress after a controversial audio leak alleged he paid to drop money laundering charges. He has accused the EFCC of violent assault and forced him off a plane. The National Assembly launched an investigation into the bribery claims but Bobrisky failed to appear, citing health issues.
