San Francisco firefighters quickly contained a fire at a homeless encampment near the South Van Ness on-ramp to I-80 and 101 on Saturday afternoon. The fire, which was reported around 12:40 pm, was under control by 1 pm, with no injuries reported. However, several stored vehicles were damaged, and the on-ramp was temporarily closed for cleanup and investigation.
