Eugene fire crews swiftly extinguished a house fire caused by a malfunctioning heater, with no reported injuries.

On November 16th, Eugene Springfield Fire (ESF) quickly responded to a house fire in West Eugene after smoke was spotted coming from a crawlspace. Firefighters arrived within three and a half minutes and effectively extinguished the fire, saving the house and its contents. A malfunctioning wall heater is suspected to have caused the fire, and no injuries were reported.
