Darjeeling's toy train service resumes after landslide repairs, boosting local tourism.

The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) has resumed its toy train service from New Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling after a pause due to landslide damage. The UNESCO World Heritage site, popular with domestic and international tourists, plans to add three more engines. Divisional Railway Manager Surinder Kumar confirmed safety measures were taken, while tourist Josephine Creswell emphasized the need for timely restoration and regular services for tourism.
