Melbourne-based startup ClimaSens is collaborating with tech giants Google and NVIDIA to develop AI tools that predict and mitigate the impacts of extreme weather on homes, businesses, and crops. With a recent $5 million grant from Google, ClimaSens is working on a flood risk analysis model and a platform that helps city planners identify areas at higher risk for heat stress. Their goal is to provide accurate climate hazard data to local governments and businesses to improve resilience and sustainability.
