Xizang, Southwest China, exports apples and other goods to Nepal, boosting trade with South Asia.

On November 16, Southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region exported 30 tonnes of locally grown apples to Nepal for the first time, marking a significant step towards economic integration with South Asia. This export includes a range of products like cashmere and highland barley wine. Xizang's foreign trade has seen a 10.2 percent increase year-on-year, totaling nearly $1.17 billion in the first three quarters of 2024.
