The USS Midway Museum in San Diego now features a new exhibit: an F4U-4 Corsair fighter-bomber from World War II and the Korean War, on long-term loan from the Naval Aviation Museum. This aircraft, made by Chance Vought Corporation, was used by the U.S. Marine Corps until 1953. It was unveiled to the public on November 15, 2024, and is now on display alongside other WWII aircraft on the ship’s hangar deck.
