Trump considers Larry Kudlow for key economic role, though Kudlow plans to stay at Fox Business.

President-elect Donald Trump is reportedly considering Fox Business host Larry Kudlow for a key economic role in his administration, such as the Treasury Secretary or the head of the National Economic Council. Kudlow, a former NEC director under Trump's first term, met with Trump recently at Mar-a-Lago. Despite the speculation, Kudlow has signed a new deal to continue hosting his show on Fox Business and does not plan to rejoin the government. Other candidates for high-level economic roles include Robert Lighthizer and Marc Rowan.
