Pakistani power companies seek Rs10 billion refund for overcharged consumers, Nepra to review.

Pakistani power companies are seeking a fuel cost adjustment (FCA) that would result in a refund of about Rs10 billion to consumers for overcharges in October. This proposed negative FCA of Rs1.016 per unit would mark the fourth consecutive month of such adjustments, aiming to provide relief to power users. The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) will hold a public hearing on November 26 to evaluate the request.
