Malawi's commission investigating the vice-president's plane crash disappointment over lack of public participation.

The commission investigating the June 10, 2024, military plane crash in Malawi that killed Vice-President Saulos Chilima and eight others has expressed disappointment over minimal public participation. Despite interviewing 55 witnesses and extensive publicity, only one person has voluntarily provided information. The commission, led by Justice Jabber Alide, will continue its work in the Southern Region from November 15 to 16, urging more public cooperation to uncover the truth.
