King Charles III visited Royal Marines in Devon, marking the first time a king has awarded the King's Badge since 1939.

King Charles III visited the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines in Lympstone, Devon, to meet successful recruits and present special honors, including the King's Badge and Green Beret. This marks the first time a king has given the badge since King George VI in 1939. Charles met 100-year-old D-Day veteran Norman Ashford and awarded two trainees, Osian Stephens and Joseph Ryan, for their exceptional performances.
