Jacksonville man sentenced to life for sexually abusing minors over 11 years.

A Jacksonville man, James Warnell Phillips, has been sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to sexually abusing minors over an 11-year period. The trial began on November 12 and concluded swiftly after one and a half days, with the jury taking less than an hour to decide on the life sentence. The prosecution was led by Assistant District Attorney Jonathan Richey and the Cherokee County District Attorney Elmer Beckworth.
