India's spice exports surge, aiming for $10 billion by 2030 with record red chilli sales.

India's spice exports are on track to hit $10 billion by 2030, with the market seeing an 8.8% growth to $2.09 billion in the first half of the fiscal year. Red chilli exports reached a record $1.5 billion, up 15% from the previous year. The Spices Board launched a $422.30 crore scheme to boost exports and improve spice quality. To meet the target, India needs to produce nearly 15 million tonnes of spices.
