Farmer in India finds 7.44-carat diamond, his second significant discovery in three months.
A farmer in Panna, Madhya Pradesh, India, named Dilip Mistry, has found a 7.44-carat diamond, his second discovery in three months following a 16.10-carat find in August. Both diamonds will be auctioned by the Panna Diamond Office, which has a collection of 79 diamonds weighing about 228 carats and valued at roughly Rs 3.53 crore. Mistry plans to use the earnings for expanding his mine and supporting his family.
